Wirral Grammar School for Girls Swing Band from Bebington, Wirral, is made up of 40 pupils ages 13-18 with direction from Head of Music Gill Townsend and trombonist Jonas Tattersall. Playing a range of swing standards, jazz, funk and popular music they toured to Italy in summer 2023 and are preparing for a trip to the Netherlands in 2025.
