The Event:

• Liverpool Waves Music Festival
• Saturday 6th July & Sunday 7th July 

The Role:

The experience will be enhanced by a series of designated, stewarding positions, including the creation of pedestrian areas to maximise viewpoints and ensure safe interaction with the installations. At times will involve working alongside professional stewards.

You don’t have to be available for all the event days, but please do let us know in your application so we know.

Duties:

• Greeting, assisting and directing people attending the event
• Report incidents or safety concerns to the supervisor as necessary
• Assisting with queries and performance of participating bands
• Assisting with the preparation of the event space(s)
• Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Event Management Team

Required Skills:

Although the role does not require any experience or specific qualifications, we do look for:

• Fluent English
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Polite and enthusiastic
• Customer facing – politeness and smart appearance required
• Ability to work as part of a team and solo under own initiative
• Good time keeping
• A willingness to learn, flexibility and a can-do attitude

Bonus attributes!

• Be experienced in event or stewarding roles
• Be a speaker / native speaker of another language
• Have an interest in events
• Have an interest in music and/or marching bands

Additional information:

• You must have leave/permission to reside and work in the UK
• Some posts may require a DBS
• LWM will provide ID badges
• LWM will provide an official top
• You will be required to wear comfortable, suitable footwear and clothing to match the colour
