On Saturday 29th June, Liverpool WaVeS director, John Perry, and David McGuffin, St.John’s Festival Band organiser, were interviewed by Sean Styles on his Radio Merseyside morning show. They underlined the importance of music education for young people, with a focus on the lack of opportunities in the UK compared to other countries and stressed the need for more programs to engage young people in music education.
