The Beat Goes On

Portland, Oregon, USA

The Beat Goes On is an international award-winning all-adult marching band based in Portland, Oregon, USA. Founded in October 2011, the band is committed to delighting Northwest, National, and International audiences while reliving the best parts of the marching band experiences and creating indelible memories. Previous appearances include major events throughout North America and on three other continents.

In 2026 the band performed in Castle Street Liverpool on Wednesday 2nd July in front of the Liverpool Town Hall.

Kitami Fuji High School Wind Ensemble

Hello! We are the Kitami Fuji High School Wind Ensemble, commonly known as ‘Fuji Brass’.

Our school is in Kitami City, Hokkaido, in the north of Japan.

In 2026 Fuji Brass performed in St Georges Hall, Liverpool at a schools concert attended by over 400 children from local schools in the area

The Blaise High School Performing Arts Troupe (Bristol)

The Blaise High School Performing Arts Troupe is a talented ensemble of students from Years 8–10, bringing together young performers with a shared passion for music, dance, and drama.

In 2026 Blaise High School performed in St Georges Hall, Liverpool at a schools concert, attended by over 400 children from local schools in the area

TPSY Marching Band (Hong Kong)

TPSY Marching Band, established over 20 years ago, stands as a beacon of musical excellence and community involvement. Under the expert guidance of Anthony Cheng, a distinguished conductor known throughout Hong Kong and Asia, the band has thrived, with Cheng overseeing more than 50 bands in the region.

In 2025 TPSY Marching Band performed in Chester and visited the Town Hall with personal guided tour from the Lady Mayor. They also visited Liverpool Town Hall and performed on the Mersey Ferry, entertaining tourists and locals 

Strinda Ungdomskrorps

Liverpool Waves Music were pleased to host Strinda Ungdomskrorps Friday 6th September through to Sunday 8th September 2024.

Strinda Ungdomskorps will be in the UK at the beginning of September 2024 and Liverpool Waves Music are pleased to have the following performances planned around the North-West

Friday 6th September
An invite-only corporate performance for the city leaders and LCC staff at Cunard Building.

Saturday 7th September
1pm Parade through Liverpool 1
2pm performance at Sugar House Steps, Liverpool 1

Sunday 8th September
1pm Performance at Chester Band Stand on the banks of the River Dee

Strinda Ungdomskorps originates from two bands, both founded in 1924, who merged in 1962, and as such, we turn 100 this year. We currently have approximately 40 active members; the youngest members still in their teens, the oldest in their seventies. Our vision is “Magic with Music” and we aim to enchant the audience with our love of music! We show this by, among other things, singing, waltzing and marching in the streets.
